Announcing the 2008/2009 Julia Broderick Scholarship

The Society for Technical Communication (STC), Canada West Coast Chapter, is pleased to offer the annual Julia Broderick Scholarship of $750.00.

Eligibility is extended to all technical writing students in the final year of any post-secondary program to participate in STC functions, complete their studies, and pursue a career in technical communication.

The $750 scholarship can be used for the following expenses:
• Membership in the STC
• Tuition and fees
• Books and class materials
• STC regional or international conference
• Technical communication seminars and workshops

All eligible students are invited to apply for the Julia Broderick Scholarship Scholarship. The details and application form can be found on the Canada West Coast chapter web site at: http://www.stcwestcoast.ca/index.php/site/scholarships. Note: the application deadline for the 2008/2009 scholarship has been extended to APRIL 15, 2009.
