 Membership Types

The STC offers several types of membership.

To belong to STC Canada West Coast, you must specify that you are joining our chapter as your geographic-based community when you apply or renew.

 Membership Upgrades

If you are an STC member but don't belong to our chapter, you may upgrade your membership to join us for only USD $10.

You can also choose to join other chapters or international-level special interest groups, or upgrade your membership to receive print copies of the STC publications, Intercom, and Technical Communication.

E-Mail and Address Changes

It is important to keep your address and contact information up to date.

 Postal Address Changes

Notify the STC office. Use the STC Online Address Change Form.

 Email Address Changes

Follow these two steps:

 Notify the STC office. Complete the STC Online Address Change Form.

 Update your email address in your chapter web profile. Click on Email Settings under Personal Settings and update the address you have listed. NOTE: The email address you specify on your profile will be use for all chapter communications to you. At this time, we can only support one email address on record. The address can be different than the address on file with STC International. For your ease of use, we recommend keeping your data the same.

 Username and Password

Want to change your username and password for your web profile? Click on Username and Password under Personal Settings to make your changes.

Forgot your password? Request it here.

Forgot your username? Contact the .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) with your STC membership # and we will send you your username.

 Contractors Directory Posting Access

Only STC Canada West Coast members can post in our Contractors Directory. Email our with your access request. Once your membership is verified, you will be sent details for how to access and complete your listing in the directory.

Web Profile Administration
STC Canada West Coast has migrated to a content management system to manage our member communications and enable member-only access to specific types of content (for example, the chapter job bank). Contact the .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for details of how to register.

You may change your username, password, and email address at any time by updating your chapter web profile. Note that this data base is separate from the STC data base.

What's in the Member's Only Areas?
Certain portions of this website are available only to STC Canada West Coast Members. These include the chapter job bank pages and certain Coast Lines articles.
