The team is responsible for a wide range of administrator, support, and developer-level documentation, participates actively in UI design discussions, writes UI text, and manages and develops our customer support web portal. We currently develop most of our documentation in FrameMaker, where we single-source content for multiple audiences using conditional text. But we also write short MS Word documents, XML help files, and wiki pages, and are actively exploring other methods of delivering information to our growing audience.

We use an Agile software development methodology, with writers participating as full members of development teams. Writers work closely with developers, QA, product managers, and support personnel to estimate, develop, and test documentation in parallel with the software.
