Looking at the membership counts from the international STC, we have over 250 members in our chapter. This is a great number! Half of our members are senior members: our community has a deep pool of knowledge to share and to teach. With 18 student members, there aren’t a lot of people to teach, but those students should find a great wealth of information (should they seek it).

I hope to give you a write up about the STC fees and how those fees are transferred to our chapter. Our financials are pretty transparent, but not a lot of people ask about them. In an upcoming post, I’ll bring them to you. For now, suffice to say that our chapter does great work on a very small budget with a very small core of volunteers: of our 250ish members, we have approximately 15 volunteers who make our chapter “go!”
