For anyone who has not yet heard about it, we are very excited to be co-sponsoring, together with Rahel Bailie of Intentional Design, a series of four two-day workshops on content management to be put on by the Rockley Group. Anne Rockley, of course, is one of the acknowledged gurus of content management. Check out our Web site for more information. As each workshop gets close, we will be sending out a reminder by email. If you are interested, make sure that you register early as space in each workshop is limited.

One of the things that has been causing some chatter on the president’s listserv recently is the topic of re-chartering. Re-chartering is part of the national transformation initiative. A new article entitled, “Chartering, Re-chartering, and All That Chat” was published to the STC Transformation Web site. You can find out what re-chartering is all about by reading the article at http://www.stc.org/transformation/article12.asp. We will be using the questions in the re-chartering template to help fill out the pieces of our chapter’s Strategic Plan as we close out the current year’s activities and start planning for the 2005–2006 season.

If you have any suggestions for a topic to include in next year’s program, please let us know by sending an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

We would like to encourage you to get involved with the chapter and help us to continue growing our vibrant community. We will be electing the new executive for next year at the May program meeting so don’t forget to turn out and vote. And, if you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, please get in touch with our volunteer coordinator.
