Call for Nominations for 2011/12 Vice President
This executive position is a three-year commitment, normally filled by automatic succession: the Vice President succeeds to President; the President succeeds to Past President.

To qualify as a VP nominee, you must:
⁃ be an STC Canada West Coast member in good standing
⁃ have worked as a technical communicator and be familiar with the local TechCom and business communities
⁃ have previously demonstrated a range of leadership and volunteer contributions, ideally in the CWC chapter
⁃ be able to commit considerable time and effort to serving the chapter effectively over a three-year period
⁃ support and promote the goals of the chapter and its members
⁃ have excellent interpersonal skills

Desired qualities for the VP nominee:
⁃ contributes to the development or advancement of the chapter or profession
⁃ is familiar with member services or not-for-profit organizations
