Doug believes that both outcome and impact are defined by our visions.

Doug Burns reserves his Mondays in life to talk to people, to answer emails, to think.  I was fortunate enough to spend an hour with him and share his sense of purpose and passion in the world. His joy of life.  Besides being a husband, a father and a great friend, he sings, plays guitar, attends regular jam sessions, and is involved in literacy programs in British Columbia.  He is a passionate speaker and a professional coach, and a fun person to be around. He is someone who draws positive energy towards himself and finds the best he can in you. Someone who definitely Has It All.

Doug started his coaching career in 2001 at the age of 50.  He had spent 25 years working in upper level management, and wanted the joy and passion back in his working life. His decision to leave the corporate world and follow his dreams was supported by his wife and family.  After taking courses at Coach Training Institute, a major coaching school accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), he found his next adventure.  The ICF is the largest worldwide resource for professional coaches.  Today the ICF is the leading global organization for coaches with over 14,000 members in 90 different countries.

Doug is a people person. He sees the positive in everyone and sees their potential to achieve their dreams.  He understands the way people can channel their excitement and passion. He believes we draw fulfillment towards ourselves.  Doug believes that both outcome and impact are defined by our visions, and when we each find the way to channel our excitement and visions, we too, can Have It All.

Doug speaks to groups of people 7-8 times a year, and when I asked him what he wants to get back from these lectures, he replied “I want people to be able to see a way forward in their lives. I want to make a difference.” Doug instilled in me his sense of excitement and joy in the process of living. I can’t wait to attend the STC lecture on November 17th to see how life changing it is.  I can’t wait to Have it All.

The STC is inviting all interested persons to start a dialogue with Doug Burns on our forum. Doug will review all questions and comments. Or just drop by to say hello and introduce yourself at the Forum
