Being the newsletter editor was one of the more fun volunteer opportunities I’ve had. I thought I’d be at it for several years, but instead I’ve moved on to being the chapter vice president. Don’t worry - I will still hit you up for an article!

The 2006-2007 season will be an exciting one for the newsletter. We will be transferring from an expensive print format to an online and email format. You will be able to access the newsletter on the Internet, search the archives, and read members-only articles. No more expensive and delayed newsletters arriving in your mail boxes. The chapter will save thousands of dollars in printing costs as well as lots of paper, and deliver more timely news and articles.

Finally, Dalyce Epp is taking over as the newsletter editor. How fortuitous it was for the chapter that she showed up at her first meeting in a long time, spoke to the volunteer coordinator, and had a particular interest in getting into editing.

Continue to look forward to well-written and well-edited articles. And don’t forget to submit your own articles – you are a writer, after all!
