Published: January 2007 in Viewpoints

The inaugural issue of Coast Lines, the newsletter of the STC Canada West Coast chapter, was printed in November 1983, the year that the chapter was officially formed. The publication was not printed with the Coast Lines name until 1984 - you can read more about that here.

The newsletter’s primary distribution is to members of our chapter, although we have always had an external readership. The chapter has approximately 270 members. Most of them are located in southwestern British Columbia, but there are growing numbers of members across Canada and elsewhere globally.
Coast Lines has been redesigned several times over its lifespan. The previous two redesigns coincided with STC Canada West Coast’s re-branding. In both cases the chapter’s Web site and communication materials had a coordinating look and feel.
