President's Message: January 2012 Digest

A belated and happy new year! This issue combines year-end activity with January 2012 stuff. Volunteers including yours truly took a well-deserved holiday break. Now we’ve got the rest of the program year filled, are interviewing candidates for treasurer, anticipate a Canada-wide salary survey, and offer assistance to STC Montreal members. With the dissolution of their physical chapter we take a lesson: without volunteers STC-CWC wouldn’t exist. It takes hours of effort to offer programs and services month after month. My heartfelt thanks goes to the tireless teams who maintain our presence across Canada and internationally. It’s time to renew your membership and participate in electing the next slate of international leaders.
