Sponsoring the STC CWC Chapter

Note: We are revising our advertising and sponsorship programs and rates for 2009. This page will be updated with the new information when it becomes available.

The STC Canada West Coast chapter welcomes the support of private organizations to help us offer a high quality experience to our members. There are several forms of sponsorship that provide organizations with exposure to over 200 active chapter members as well as hundreds of others interested in technical communication:

Website sponsorship

For $100, have your company logo with a link to your company website on our chapter home page for an entire year!

You are welcome to sponsor more than one page for an additional fee of $50 per page.

Program Sponsorship

For $250, get exposure at a chapter meeting of your choosing. You’ll have exposure to a cross section of Vancouver-area technical communicators. Our program sponsor receives the following:

Listing and link to your company site on the program announcement web page for the life of the announcement

Table display of your marketing materials at our program event

Listing as a program sponsor in program announcements to CWC members and associated groups

Verbal acknowledgement at the program event

Chapter Sponsorship

For $500, get the best way to make a thorough and long-lasting impact on STC Canada West Coast members. Chapter sponsorship provides a year of the following services:

Listing and link to your company’s site as a Chapter Sponsor on the home page of the STC CWC website

Listing as a Chapter Sponsor in program announcements to CWC members and associated groups

Table display of your marketing materials at our program event

Verbal acknowledgment at all chapter events

Acknowledgment article with organization profile in the newsletter

In Kind Sponsorship

Normally this sponsorship applies to people wanting to promote an event, such as a conference. If your conference can supply a discount to STC members and affiliates, one free pass to be distributed by the president, and in return the chapter will post your event on the website under Other Events, email the membership, publicize to affiliate groups, list your organization as a sponsor on our website.

If your conference is the appropriate venue, you can also provide a meeting place (and maybe a speaker!). This way your conference can receive publicity through the chapter event announcements.
