Successfully writes and produces a broad range of technical and marketing materials, including capital campaigns, brochures, websites, video, B-to-B ads, proposals, articles, standards and procedures, operations and training manuals, data sheets, product sheets, customer success stories, white papers. Excels in writing for all of them. Ability to quickly understand technical, scientific and R&D;subject matter and write to intended audiences. Works well with subject matter experts to gain thorough knowledge necessary for each project. Maintains organization and focus when faced with changing requirements (from internal management decisions to external proposal amendments). Is flexible and responsive within a fluid, customer service-oriented and deadline-oriented environment. Provides cradle-to-grave writing support, including performing substantive re-writing and editing online, designing templates, formatting text/graphics, making documents more aesthetically pleasing and easier to read, and performing production functions, as needed (e.g., printing, binder assembly, coordinating delivery, etc.). Efforts include tight deadlines, stringent guidelines and detailed submission requirements. Proven ability to increase overall quality and production values of written materials. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project, Experienced user of Internet and Intranet programs. Extensive experience working in a wide range of communication tools – including print, web, video, DVD and CD-Rom. |
