Planning to semi-retire to downtown Vancouver in the next few years! Technical writing is my third career after software algorithm design and project management in aerospace and program management (point of sale terminals, automated teller machines).

I’ve been an STC member since 1994 or so and have served as the treasurer and president of the San Diego chapter/community. I’ve spoken at several international STC conferences as well as local and regional meetings.

For fun I participate in user interface and user experience special interest groups and raise box turtles.
