Hi Everyone,

After I posted the article, Karen pointed out that this meeting is now FREE for our chapter members. I’ve also taken the liberty of posting a link to the article in the STC International forums, which Google indexes on a daily basis.

We may receive other registrants from outside our chapter. Is GiftTool smart enough to know to charge them? Should we even bother to care, as the technology is so cool and accessible anyway?

Cheers,

-Tony

How about “reach out and connect to members who can’t show in person”—this would include non-vancouver based people and vancouver-based people who don’t want to go downtown.

“Remote” members implies that members not in Vancouver or Burnaby are somehow different. They’re still chapter members with the same rights and privileges and responsibilities as any other member and yet they’re not served and don’t participate. Why would you be a remote member when you get little for it? I don’t know.
